Representatives of AIRR regions are on the official visit to Germany (Berlin, Potsdam, Hannover) on June 11 to 14.
There is a host of R&D agencies in Germany. All in all, Germany has about 750 publicly funded R&D institutions as well as various R&D centers operating on the basis of industrial concerns.
On the first business mission day, the delegation visited Biotechnopark Buch, a technopark in the north of Berlin. The technopark covers an area of 31,000 sq.m. and is a modern center for science, health and biotechnologies. The campus residents are engaged in development of new solutions together with fundamental and clinical research institutions.
