IV International Forum Technoprom 2016 began its work

The international technological development forum “Technoprom 2016 New Reality.  Synergy of Technologies and Spaces began” its work in the Novosibirsk region.

The Forum is attended by the Governor of the Novosibirsk region Vladimir Gorodetsky, Deputy Prime Minister of the RF Dmitry Rogozin being the head of the Steering Committee of the Forum, First Deputy Chairman of the Federal Assembly of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Alexander Zhukov, plenipotentiary representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Siberian Federal District Nikolay Rogozhkin, heads of regions, representatives of federal authorities, scientific community and business. The program of the first day of the Forum includes more than twenty events with the participation of heads of regions, the heads of federal ministries and agencies, national and international experts, representatives of the scientific community. 

Within the business program, on June 9 there will be held a meeting of the State Commission on Arctic Development and a plenary session “The Russian Arctic. Strategy and Technologies of Development”.  Alongside with the meetings and round tables, agreements will be signed and awards and presentations will be held in the press center. Thus, on June 9, an agreement will be signed within the program “Siberian Biotechnology Initiative” between the Novosibirsk, Omsk, Tomsk, Irkutsk, and Kemerovo regions, Krasnoyarsk and Altai territories.  On the same day there will take place the following events: presentation of the book by the RAS Deputy President Vladimir Ivanov "Russia: 21st century Breakout strategy: Technologies. Education. Science” and of the book of Trends Fund “New Industrialization: Drivers and Prospects", awarding ceremony of the winners of the contest of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry called “Golden Mercury”.

Within the Forum, a large exhibition was officially opened where specialists from more than 20 research institutions and about 150 high-tech companies will present the state-of-the-art medical, additive, biotechnological, photonic and metal working equipment. Thus, within the collective stand “Science”, scientists of the Siberian branch of the Russian Academy of Science will present their projects in technological support of the Arctic development and evolution of national technological sphere as a whole. The stand of the Novosibirsk region will host a presentation of the integrated projects under the Regional Economy Reindustrialization Program. Novosibirsk Chemical Concentrates Plant, which is a part of the Rosatom’s Fuel Company TVEL, will show samples of cathode materials for lithium batteries and comprehensive proposal for the production, manufacture and maintenance of non-standard equipment for production.

Traditionally, the Siberian Venture Fair takes place within Technoprom. This year, the main event of the fair will be the conference with the participation of representatives of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, where speakers will discuss the integration of domestic developments into global innovation environment. 30 companies of biomedical, nanotechnology, robotics, energy and information technology sectors will present their projects.
