BRICS Forums: Development and Innovation
The scientific and practical conference "Partnership of BRICS Countries in Developing the Digital Economy: Prospects for Seamless Cross-Border Interaction," organized by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and the All-Russian Academy of Foreign Trade, will take place on July 24 in Moscow. The event will serve as a platform for contacts among the public sector, business, and academic circles on issues of trade, economic, and technological development. Three sessions are planned, focusing on the role of AI in promoting trade and investment cooperation, the development of e-commerce, consumer rights protection, and the synergy of digital and space technologies.Additionally, the BRICS Youth Summit will be held in Ulyanovsk from July 22 to 26. The summit will operate across five tracks: education, science, and training; youth entrepreneurship; science, technology, and innovation; youth community work and volunteering; health and sports.
Kazan Digital Week 2024
The international forum Kazan Expo will take place from September 9 to 11. The goal of the forum is to facilitate the exchange of scientific and technical information, consolidate scientific and technological assets capable of effectively addressing import substitution and import acceleration tasks, and ensure technological sovereignty and data sovereignty as a basis for Russia's leadership in international cooperation. It has been announced that speakers at the International Exhibition Center "Kazan Expo" will include Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin, Minister of Digital Development of the Russian Federation Maksut Shadaev, Head of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, and others.
"Archipelago-2024" Concluded
The largest project-based educational intensive on unmanned systems took place in the Sakhalin region for two weeks and attracted over 3,500 participants from 78 regions of the country. In addition to exploring the capabilities of UAVs, the themes of "Archipelago" included the application of artificial intelligence and new energy, particularly hydrogen technologies.At the conclusion of the forum, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Vitaly Savelyev visited Sakhalin and the Kurils, where he urged regions to develop UAVs and announced the introduction of a special index for regional involvement in the development of the unmanned aerial systems market, which will allow them to qualify for additional budget funding.
