The Head of Government recalled that Russian President Vladimir Putin approved new national development goals, one of which is the digital transformation of public administration, the economy and the social sphere. This, according to Mikhail Mishustin, can be achieved through the widespread use of big data, artificial intelligence and the Internet of things. “The tasks are very large-scale, and, of course, they require coordinated actions of both entrepreneurs and the state. There is the necessary basis for their implementation,” the Prime Minister emphasized.

During the plenary session, the heads of the largest Russian companies, whose production sites are located, including in the regions of the Volga Federal District, spoke about the results of work on digitalization of business processes and ensuring the digital sovereignty of industry.

Our district is actively introducing digital technologies and automated control systems in production and the energy sector, developing our own software and developing AI. The issues that were discussed at the plenary session are related to the transition of enterprises in key industries to basic and applied Russian software in systems that support basic production and management processes. Here, one of the tools for achieving the national goal of digital transformation is the national project “Data Economy and Digital Transformation of the State” based on the current national project “Digital Economy”. Taking into account the new tasks set by President Vladimir Putin, innovation clusters are actively developing in the regions of the district and human resources are being strengthened,” said Igor Komarov.
